Ehsan Akram is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of AMA Property Group.

Following a successful legal career, since 2000, Ehsan has worked with international and national institutional funders, developing initiatives and co-ordinating investments of more than £200 million. During this period, he has developed new, and nurtured existing partnerships and remains a stakeholder in many of these initiatives. An example of this was his co-founding of a property and develop company, securing over £80 million investment for the Specialist Supported Housing sector. These developments have been hailed a resounding success, with excellent occupancy levels, providing bespoke homes for life for service users.

With access to substantial financial and human resources, together with his own first-class knowledge and experience, Ehsan ensures that AMA Property Group has the ability and agility to move quickly on initiatives and developments ensuring their long-term viability without compromising values.

Ehsan ensures that AMA Property Group adhere to the ethical vision and values that are the foundation of the organisation and remain statutorily compliant with all relevant regulatory requirements. This provides reassurance for both regulators and stakeholders.

In his spare time Ehsan enjoys cricket, representing and captaining his local side for over 25 years.

Umar Ahmed is the Managing Director of AMA Property Group, he graduated with a BSC (Hons) in Information Systems and is able to use this expertise to project manage the development of various property solutions to address housing need.

Umar assisted in establishing AMA Property Group with CEO Ehsan in 2020. Utilising his substantial experience in property development and his vision for the future, Umar will continue to co-ordinate development opportunities on behalf of AMA Property Group translating strategic thinking into operational activity.

Drawing upon his extensive network of existing and potential Stakeholders, he is a key liaison officer between AMA Property Group and existing and potential developers. Umar is responsible for ensuring development opportunities are maximised and ensuring that working relationships with all stakeholders are efficient and effective.

He was pivotal in negotiating the recent acquisition of 400 units of Specialist Supported Housing (SSH) with a collective investment value of more than £80 million. His excellent communication and negotiation skills ensure stakeholders have confidence that AMA Property Group deliver property solutions on time, on budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.

Saj is the Construction Director for AMA Property Group.

He is responsible for overseeing and managing the construction team and external consultants. He has over 25 years’ experience in construction. Over his career he has worked in partnership with a variety of investment focussed organisations to deliver successful housing developments – both new build and refurbish. This has included commercial development for the private and public sector developments, with Housing Associations and healthcare and educational establishments.

His experience of ‘out of the box thinking’ has enabled the successful completion of several challenging developments enhancing the reputation of AMA Property Group as an organisation that delivers on time every time.

He has worked as a consultant for many contractors and developers and is conversant with all legal and regulatory compliance within the construction industry. For the last 3 years he has primarily worked as a Client Project Manager, drawing on his knowledge and expertise to project manage developments ranging from £100k to £50million. He has a flair for addressing and incorporating the various heritage and conservation requirements within initiatives to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.

Nick is the Commercial Director for AMA Property Group.

Nick is an experienced real estate professional, with a passion for housing and regeneration. He has executive level experience working with Boards, Regulators, funders, and other key stakeholders.

He has held senior positions within a multi-national corporate consultancy, a ‘client-side’ land promotion and regeneration specialist. At project level Nick has successfully contributed to a range of nationally renowned housing and regeneration schemes, demonstrating his capacity to manage multi-disciplinary teams and a broad profile of work. He has a thorough understanding of the legislative framework, regulatory and investment/funding regimes of the residential sector and he is a strong advocate for the build-to-rent and ‘for profit’ Registered Provider sectors.

Nick is a Non-Exec/Trustee at a specialist housing charity that provides housing for adults with care needs. With contacts covering different regions and across many facets of the real estate market including funding, equity markets, land agents, developers and the legal and technical professions, he maintains an excellent network of like minded contacts.

Abdul is the Development Manager for AMA Property Group.

He is a highly skilled individual who joined the organisation in 2020, he has operated in the Property Sector for several years. He has excelled in sourcing and purchasing properties for investors. He has established and maintains an excellent network of partners within the property sector.

Abdul is responsible for helping identify and delivering excellent quality and sustainable investments, working with all partners, ensuring that the schemes will be delivered on time and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. He will ensure excellent communication at all times with all parties involved are kept updated and satisfied with the schemes.

In his spare time, you may find Abdul training in the gym or mentoring and coaching future Thai Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts champions. He has travelled the world competing in these sports, but now coaches these disciplines.
